General Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to all travel arrangements made by Great Getaway Travel (“Agent,” “we,” “us”). By booking travel through our agency, you (“Client,” “you,” or “traveler”) agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Services
Great Getaway Travel acts as an intermediary between you and third-party travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, etc.). We assist in planning, booking, and managing travel arrangements on your behalf.
2. Booking Terms
- A deposit may be required to confirm reservations.
- Final payment is due as specified at the time of booking.
- Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of your booking, subject to supplier penalties.
3. Pricing
All pricing is based on current rates at the time of quote. Prices are not guaranteed until payment is made in full. Suppliers may impose additional fees, fuel surcharges, taxes, or increases which are beyond our control.
4. Changes and Cancellations
- All change and cancellation requests must be made in writing.
- Fees may apply depending on the supplier’s policy.
- Our agency may charge an administrative fee for changes or cancellations in addition to any supplier fees.
- Refunds, if any, are subject to the terms of the supplier.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. Insurance can cover trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, lost baggage, and other unforeseen events. Acknowledgement that you’ve been offered travel insurance and either accepted or declined it is required.
6. Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate personal and payment information
- Ensuring all travelers have valid passports, visas, and other required documentation
- Reviewing all trip details and confirmations for accuracy
- Complying with health, safety, customs, and immigration regulations
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in denied boarding, denied entry, or additional costs, which will be your sole responsibility.
7. Agency Liability
Great Getaway Travel is not responsible for:
- Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers
- Cancellations, delays, or changes caused by weather, strikes, pandemics, or other force majeure events
- Injury, loss, accident, or damage to person or property in connection with any travel service
Your remedy for dissatisfaction lies with the supplier, not the agent. You agree to release [Your Agency Name] from liability for any claims arising from third-party services.
8. Documents & Communication
It is your responsibility to review all travel documents, confirmations, and itineraries. Notify us immediately of any discrepancies. We communicate primarily via email; by booking with us, you agree to receive electronic communication related to your travel plans.
9. Credit Card Authorization
By providing your credit card information, you authorize Great Getaway Travel to process payments for travel services as outlined in your booking, including any applicable service fees.
10. Dispute Resolution
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising under these Terms & Conditions will be subject to mediation or binding arbitration in Morris County/New Jersey.
